Camp Policies for Summer Youth Baseball Camps/Skill-Specific Camps

Items we recommend that you bring to the all-skills youth camps:

equipment/bat bag, baseball bat, glove, baseball spikes, baseball hat, swimsuit, towel, sunscreen and a separate small bag to take to the swimming pool to store clothes, shoes, etc.

**It is strongly recommended that all items brought to camp have the camper's name on them!!

Important Note!!
Each camper is responsible for bringing his or her own lunch and drinks to the camp each day.

Payment Options
Camps will fill on a first come first serve basis. Early registrations are strongly encouraged! Without advanced reservation and payment, participation CANNOT be guaranteed.

There are three options for payment:

1. Pay the full amount, via credit card on this website, along with your completed online registration form.

2. Mail the full payment amount in the form or cash or check, along with a completed registration form, which can be printed from this web site.

3. Mail a non-refundable deposit* of $100 with your completed registration form (printable from this web site). The balance payment will be due on or before the first day of your child’s respective camp session.

*This deposit is non-refundable to cover administrative expenses.

Refund Policy

A request for refund must be submitted in writing prior to August 10, 2007. The nonrefundable deposit of $100 will be deducted for administrative expenses. NO REFUNDS WILL BE ISSUED UNTIL ALL CAMPS HAVE ENDED.

Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, it is possible for camp to be cancelled that day. If there is any concern regarding a possible cancellation at any time of the day, information will be provided on the outgoing message of the camp’s contact phone (302-324-9131).

Inclement Weather Makeup Policy
If a camp day is completely cancelled due to inclement weather (this means a cancellation decision is made before the start of camp that day), makeups will be handled as follows:

1. The camper has the option of attending camp during one of the other weeks of camp.
2. If the cancellation is during the final week of camps, the camper has the option of participating in a private group lesson to be scheduled by the camp directors.

Note* - If camp is ceased during any time of the day after the start of camp, there will be no option to make up since this will be considered a completed day of camp.

Acceptance & Behavior Policy
The Blue Hen Baseball Camp, its director and/or staff reserves the right to dismiss anyone from camp who has acted inappropriately. A camper whose behavior has been deemed inappropriate and/or does not abide by camp rules, will be required to depart camp as soon as parents have been notified and transportation is secured. Campers are not allowed to depart from the fields, field house arena and/or pool with out permission from director or staff.

 

 

Camp Policies for HS Instructional Showcase Camps/HS Prospect Camps

Food and Drink

Each player is responsible for bringing his own food/beverage to camp each day.

 

Payment Options

Camps will fill on a first come first serve basis. Early registrations are strongly encouraged! Without advanced reservation and payment, participation CANNOT be guaranteed.

Attendance to these camps require a payment in full ONLY! This can done using one of two methods:

1. Credit card payment with completed online registration form.

2. Mail in cash or check with completed registration form, which can be printed from this we site.

Refund Policy

The HS Instructional Showcase Camps and/or HS Prospect Camps do not issue any refunds. All paid fees are non-refundable. If, for any reason other than cancellation of the camp due to inclement weather, a player fails to attend camp after submitting a registration with payment, but wishes to attend a future camp, the player will have to pay any fee associated with that future camp. There are NO CREDITS for missing any camp for which you were previously registered and failed to attend!
